This 1957 Chevy Model 150 2-door sedan was a former race car which has been returned to street service by it's last owner. It features a 350 cubic inch small block with a Holley four-barrel on a aluminum hi-riser manifold and long tube headers. The engine is quite strong even though I do not have any more particulars as to why that is so. The exhaust headers are followed by new flowmaster mufflers and new pipes exiting in front of the rear tires.... it sound Awesome!!! It has a brand new clutch & pressure plate feeding the four speed manual transmission featuring a short Hurst Shifter. The rear is a 3:55 ratio positraction with ladder bars. Cragar "Drag Star" wheels [15x6 front & 15x8 rear] and Kelly Tires [195/65R 15 front & 225/60R 15 rear] are nearly new.
The car drives very well with no issues or concerns. The interior has Chevelle? bucket seats that could use reupholstering in fact the entire interior needs some TLC... as a race car this was not important. The two tone paint job combined with the molded in [NICE job too!] Pro-Stock style scoop makes this 150 model jump out and be noticed! Some floor/trunk panels have been repaired, but overall the car/frame is quite sound.
This car has many more years of service and enjoyment left to give, either on the track or the street. Give a couple areas some TLC when you have a little spare time and have some fun racing or crusing meanwhile!
